Itinerary:

Today you will be collected from your accommodation by Aboriginal Tour specialiast Adventure North Australia. 

Kuku Yalanji Cultural Habitat Tours: In the crystal waters and mangroves of Cooya Beach, north of Port Douglas the Kubirri Warra brothers of Kuku Yalanji Cultural Habitat Tours, follow the traditions of their ancestors.

During this unique, fun tour where you will learn first hand how to throw a spear, search and hunt for fish, mud crabs and mussels. Learn about bush tucker and medicine. Enjoy home made damper and catch of the day on the families balcony.

Silky Oaks Lodge: Lunch with spectacular views of the Daintree Rainforest and Mossman River.

Local Aboriginal Art Experience - Janbal Gallery: We visit artist in residence "Binna" where you will enjoy and share in an authentic Aboriginal art experience. Learn about the reef and rainforest and how the art depicts Aboriginal culture. Take home a momento of your experience.

Niau Waterfalls deep within the Daintree a pristine area, where on your guided interpretative rainforest walk you will see strange, primitive plants and learn about the French settler family and their amazing story of survival.

Swim at the falls to cool off after a great day. (Don’t forget your swimmers)

Your day of fun and discovery comes to a close as you are transferred to your accommodation.

What to bring and wear:-Hat, sunscreen, insect repellant, swimmers, towel, light coloured clothing, shorts and bottle of water which can be filled throughout the day with our water container.
